이 웜은 2월 19일 해외에서 최초 발견되었으며 국내에는 2월 24일 부터 확산 되기 시작 하였다.
UPX 실행 파일 압축되 있으며, 매달 17-22일 마이크로 소프트, EMI, RIAA를
Denial of Service (DoS)공격하도록 코딩 되 있다.
또한 자체 SMTP를 내장하여 이 메일을 통해 전파되면 감염된 시스템은
레지스트리편집기와 작업관리자를 실행 할수 없게끔 종료 시킨다.
Office 문서 중 xls, doc 문서를 일정 확률로 깨뜨리며, 같은 폴더내 있는 동일한 확장자의 파일이라도 피해를 입지 않는 파일도 있다.
메일을 통한 감염시 다음 파일에서 메일 주소를 추출 한다.

또는 다음과 같은 레지스트리 항목이 존재 하면 메일 주소를 추출 하게 된다.

웜이 실행 되면 "Unable to open specified file" 에러 박스를 표시하고 윈도우 시스템 폴더
(Win9x- c:\windows\system, Win2000, NT - c:\Winnt\system32, win XP - c:\windows\system32)
에 (랜덤한 파일명).dll 파일를 생성한다.
다음으로 레지스트리를 조작하여 윈도우를 실행 할 경우 먼저 웜을 실행 시키도록 한다.

win2000,nt 의 경우 : (랜덤한 이름) : c:\winnt\system32\(랜덤한 파일명)

항목에

그리고 다음과 같은 문자열을 가진 프로세스가 실행되면 종료 시킨다.

또한 TCP 1080번 포트를 오픈하기 때문에 외부에서 감염된 시스템에 접근할 수도 있다.
압축해제된 파일의 실행 압축을 풀면 다음과 같은 문자열을 포함하고 있다.

메일의 제목은 일정치 않으며 다음의 대소문자 문장에서 랜덤하게 결정된다.
